WHAT CAN YOU MANUFACTURE?
We can manufacture almost any garment or product that you desire. Whether it's in the current market or you're creating something entirely new, we are here to bring your vision to life.
If you wish to manufacture garments, we can produce adult clothing, kids wear, baby clothes, pet outfits, shoes, bags, accessories and more.
If you wish to manufacture products, we can produce kids toys, board-games, make-up utensils, home wears and more.

WHERE DO YOU MANUFACTURE?
All manufacturing is processed through our China office.
I HAVE A DESIGN, BUT I DON’T KNOW THE NEXT STEP... WHAT IS IT?
Our team at Garment And Product Solutions are skilled in taking your design from paper, to a finished product landed at your door. We have a team who are equipped to handle each step. Please refer to our step by step guide on the 'Our Process' page for a detailed description of the process we take. In the first instance, we will ask you a series of questions, to gauge as much information as possible about your product. We will then require approximately 2 weeks to give you a finished price from the factory that can service your product.
WHAT IS THE LEAD TIME FROM INITIAL DESIGN TO FINAL PRODUCT?
This will vary depending on what you are manufacturing, the stage you are at with your product and whether you are reordering your product or not.
If we are making the garment or product to your design specifications, it will be a minimum of 12 weeks plus shipping. If we are sourcing your product from the stock market, it will be on average 2 – 4 weeks plus shipping.
If you are reordering your product, this will be a quicker process.
WHAT IS THE FEE TO GET A QUOTE FOR MY PRODUCT?
We do not charge to quote you a reference price from our factories.
WHEN AND HOW IS PAYMENT MADE FOR MY PRODUCT?
We will take a deposit of up to 50% to commence the order. The balance is then payable once the Pre-Shipment has been approved by you, and then the bulk will leave China en route to you.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM QUANTITY OUT OF CHINA?
This depends on your product and the components that go into it. This is something we advise on a case by case basis. However, we do offer the option of the stock market. This means if we can find your product or the components that go into it on the stock market, there is lower minimum quantities.
To give an estimate - we have a MOQ of 50 for many garments and products but if you are producing a specialty item, the MOQ will be higher.
ARE YOU MADE IN AUSTRALIA?
No. We are not made in Australia. However our office is in Brisbane where we communicate with our Shanghai office daily. We are a privately owned Australian company.
IS YOUR COMPANY ETHICAL / ETHICALLY MADE?
Yes. All garments and products manufactured by Garments and Product Solutions are ethically made.
We ensure that ALL staff work in safe working conditions, work normal hours, get breaks when needed, get paid the award wage. Our independent Quality Controllers also always inspect all the manufacturing as it comes off the production line to ensure that our staff are producing high quality work to assess their wellbeing in the workplace. Our workers produce our items slowly and produce batches in low minimum quantities to ensure that quality is the main priority and workers can focus on one product or garment at a time.
We also only partner with small family run factories to support these smaller enterprises. Supporting these factories means we know where the funds are going in supporting these families. We do not work with large manufacturing organisations to produce our goods and therefore, we do not contribute to the fast fashion movement by any means. We produce less and only to what is required by our clients, ensuring that there is less waste being produced.
HOW CAN YOU PROVE THAT YOU ARE ETHICAL?

As we have an office in Shanghai, we are able to regulate our factories that we work with. We have Quality Controllers and staff hired especially to regulate the wellbeing of our staff in our overseas manufacturing sites.
HOW MUCH WILL A PATTERN COST?
Our pattern makers in our Brisbane office will create a pattern from the sketches or photos you have provided of your garment or product.
The pattern cutting, design, toile stage charge is AU$59 + GST / US$45 / GBP35 / EUR 40 per hour.
HOW MUCH WILL A TECH PACK COST?
Tech packs include the sketches, detailed descriptions, materials, measurements, size grading, logo details, print placement and more. This pack tells our manufacturing office exactly what you need to produce your garment or product. Only one tech pack is needed per item.
This is charged at AU$225 + GST / USD165 / GBP135 / EUR155 per style. This tech pack will incorporate all your sizing and
HOW DO I PAY FOR MY BULK ORDER?
A 50% deposit is charged to action the order once the tech pack is finalised. Our team will begin the production of your garments or products and before it is shipped to you, the final 50% deposit is charged for you to receive the order.
HOW MUCH WILL SHIPPING COST FOR MY BULK ORDER?
The price of your shipping will depend on the weight and volume of your order, as well as the method of shipment and time your order is being placed.
Sea freight can be cheaper than air freight at times. However, this option may take longer to arrive to you.
WHAT GUARANTEE DO I HAVE THAT MY PRODUCT WILL BE WHAT I HAVE ASKED FOR?
We have many steps in place to ensure you are 100% happy with your product. Again, please refer to the 'Our Process' page for these details. We do not ship any product without your approval of a Pre-Shipment Sample. Furthermore, you are placing your order with a reputable Australian company, not an offshore factory. We guarantee our products 100%.
HOW DO I KNOW MY PRODUCT WILL MEET SAFETY AND TESTING STANDARDS?
At the start of the process, we will ask you what your testing requirements are. We will produce a certificate for you from the ITS laboratory in Shanghai showing your products compliance with the required testing standards.
HOW DO I KNOW MY PRODUCT WILL NOT ARRIVE WITH A FAULT?
We have procedures put in place to protect our client and ensure the product is 100% as required. Part of the process involves an Independant Quality Controller going into the factory to inspect the goods. This is done as an In Line Production inspection, and then again once the bulk is finished before packing.
WHAT HAPPENS IF ONE SLIPS THROUGH THE NET AND I DO RECEIVE A PRODUCT WITH A FAULT?
This is very rare, but on the occasions that this has occurred, we will reimburse that item in full, or we will arrange for the factory to send a replacement. This is dealt with on a case by case scenario.
